What is an orphan period pricing rule?

An "Orphan Period" is a number of nights (set by you) between bookings. For example if you set your orphan period to two days, then if you have two or less empty nights between two bookings those days are seen as "orphan periods" and can be priced accordingly.

Many users choose to decrease orphan periods by a percentage (10% or so) in an effort to have your calendar be completely booked.
